A Space for Ritual

Design a space that is inspired by one of the following basic human activities: eating, sleeping, bathing, socializing, or spiritual reflection.

Ebb & Flow

Inspired by the progression from start to finish of one single day and how mind and body feel throughout it.

Various length platforms allow users to easily choose what experience they want at any given time; a short, wide one towards the back maintaining a closer connection with land, one of the long, narrow ones that extend over air, or the lower bench connecting users with the sea and/or sand depending on the time of day.

A space that embodies the energy of one day - 24 vertical planes beginning with a low, short small level that gradually grows outward and upward until it reaches a peak and begins to fall again only to start anew.
